| Iris Pallida has worked so well this year. --Incredible increase, nice flowers, and seems not to need division to get bloom.
Are there other iris with these characteristics? So many of my modern hydrids rot, stop blooming, or decrease. Nevertheless, the non-variegated sweet iris have done so well I am looking for similar iris. Do an image search on Google or Yahoo, if you would like a picture of sweet iris. |

| Here is a good description of IP. Glad to know it's an Italian native! It has all the strength and resilience of a species and was used for modern beareded iris development. I have had clumps that are 8-10 years old that still bloom well without division. |
