Iris China Dragon - always falls over?

Anyone else have this problem?

I have about a dozen varieties of bearded iris. Generally they seem to be fine without staking except for 'China Dragon' - any kind of rain or wind and all the flower stalks end up on the ground. It's in full sun.

Is this typical of this cultivar, or should I try it in another location?
