Is this one the Historic Chalice or Spun Gold??

We have a yellow Iris that grows from 42-44" which I suspect is 'Chalice' or maybe not?

The 'shoulders' next to the beard are marked with brown lines (veins ?) Tip of the yellow beard fades to a white.

Not a big bloom, but pretty. My Aunt Bernice thought it was Spun Gold, and said she just couldn't remember. Anyone have either of these? What do you think?

Chalice (Sturtevant 1924) is listed as 48" on the AIS iris encyclopedia. I don't remember it growing that tall at Superstition, however. A picture of your iris would be helpful in identifying it.
