| I was shopping my local greenhouse and lo and behold "tennesse ridge", in full bloom, very typical for a healthy iris and potted for $15.95 Tag from Bachmans, Mpls.
In June the Fleet Farm Store has Potted Hybrid Iris for $7.95 (grower is in Minnesota and look just as good!) Some one explain this please... |

| Supply and demand? 7.95 is a GREAT price, and I would buy it! I pay more than that for one rhizome here. Renee |

| See if you have a local iris society. We're not a large place, but have an iris club that every summer has a big sale with lots of different iris. Not the newest varieties out, but surprisingly they have some only 3 or 4 years old. They sell them for $3 ea, with 1 free with every 3 purchased. They are often very generous here, & I end up coming home with lots of freebies. |
