Tall Siberian Irises?

Posted by lois PA Zone 6 (roselady@ptd.net) on

I have some clumps of Snow Queen that look great right now. Are there other siberian irises that grow as tall as Snow Queen (almost 4 feet)?

Thanks,

Lois in PA

Iris City has heights listed.

Flower Fantasy.net (Aitkens) doesn't but they have a large selection.

I don't know the name of this dark purple Siberian iris. I winter sowed some seeds four years ago. I traded some of it last year. Each year the clump gets bigger. If you look to the left side of the photo I have a shorter light purple clump started. I don't know if the dark purple is close to four feet. I'll measure it in the morning.
