Dutch Iris did Nothing!

SusanBachman

I planted a lot of bulbs last fall and the only thing that did nothing (except for leaves) was the Dutch Iris. Someone from my area (State College, PA) said Dutch Iris don't do well here but the Siberian Iris do. I have No experience with Dutch Iris and thinking of pulling them out.

Does anyone know about my area and will they bloom next year and what is the problem, it is the very cold winter or what. I planted bearded iris and they bloomed. Also planted peonies, daffodils, tulips, grape hyacinths, crocus, alliums, etc. Everything is blooming except for the dutch iris. Please help if you have experience with this. I would rather pull them out now while I can still see the leaves. Thanks.

Thank you
