I just love iris. I will got through withdrawal when the bloom stops.
That is why, imho, it is important to have numerous ones that are rebloomers in my (your) area....for those late season surprise blooms. Some of the rebloomers might not be the showiest ones, but they sure are nice during the iris 'off' season.

Low ho Silver is blooming now, and it usually blooms steady from sometime in Aug until sometime in Nov. and possibly at times in between. I'm starting to concentrate more on those that will reliably rebloom in my area.

Sue, I have a few rebloomers, but I so love the showy ones. I'll have to look into Lo Ho silver. Thanks for the tip.

When I first decided to get into TB iris last year, I looked at rebloomers that would rebloom in my area up north. Didn't see any that I wanted. So I went for the glorious showey flowers like just like Kay did.

Sultry Mood looks so good with lav-blues! Beautiful.

Sultry Mood is not only beautiful, but in my case it has beaten ALL the others in terms of performance, hardiness, reliability, health. Have never seen this one rot.

Saw this thread yesterday. Copied the name 'Sultry Mood', and found that Schreiner's has it half priced in the summer sale brochure. I don't have a connection with the company, but thought I'd pass this along, in case people would like to acquire.
