| Several of my irises have set seeds. How soon should I cut them off the stalk? And that what do I do with them then? How soon in spring should they be planted and how long to sprout? As you can tell, I've never done this before. Thanks for the input. |

| When the pods start to split you can harvest the seeds - let them dry out before storing. They need to go through a cold cycle, so they can be planted in pots in the fall and left out to germinate in Spring. |
