Wow, beautiful iris!!!

Getting the URL for photos on Webshots looks like a little extra trouble compared to some of the other sites. You have to click on the "Copy the code to post..." button below the picture, and then choose the size of the image you want to post (default is thumbnail, for some reason). Then post the "direct link to image" code in the HTML command.

Beautiful colors. The orange beards are so pretty, and I like the flush of color in the standards.

See if I get this right... this is a maiden bloom from a few years ago. Either this iris decided to never bloom again, or it was not the same the next year because I have not seen it. This is actually a fairly common happening unfortunately.

Well, it is a shame that one disappeared, it is stunning. I just love the ruffling on it.

SO the goal is to get the same ruffling on a bicolor like the above seedling. The other goal is to cross really strong iris with various luminata's and re-cross the results to hopefully get back to a luminata which has ruffles and grows well...
