| The temp went down to 25º Monday night. Some of the TBs that were in bud are now bent over, the stem crimped. I've tried to prop some up, but it's mostly a losing proposition. What's the prognosis? I think the buds are too immature to bloom if I cut the stem and bring it in the house, but perhaps I should try anyway?
The freeze did a job on my Endless Summer hydrangea, which looks wretched at the moment, and the tips and buds of all the roses were affected as well. On the good side, the freeze killed a lot of weeds. But I'm sure that's temporary. |

| Oh no. I'm so sorry-- you wait all year for spring and then this happens. I want to cry for you. I would cut a few to try to resuscitate (sp) and leave a few to see if they bloom anyway. Renee |

| Thanks, Renee. I guess that's what I'll do. Worth a try, anyway. |
