I am overwhelmed with irises, and at least 20 different varieties will go toward my iris club's annual fundraising rhizome sale, but what did I go and do?

I ordered more.

I ordered from BlueJ, since they have such a wide variety of irises and I wanted a few old, a few new, and a few odd.

I got:

Soap Opera (similar to Scottish Reel, which I just love)

Shooting Stars (a different looking gold iris for next to Bayberry Candle)

Four I have always loved and wanted, and finally bought:

Repartee (red and white amoena)

Orchid Pinstripe (an odd looking little thing)

Ruth Black (which I have been pining over for years, and still have no spot to plant)

Tropical Butterfly (another historic iris that has wild, wild colors)

and

Bel Esprit, a big ruffly one, for my mom.

I like the anticipation and the excitement of seeing a new flower for the first time. I think I'll go pull out some plants now.
