SDB iris question

I'm fairly new to SDBs, my oldest ones are about 3 years old now. Two of my 3 year old ones didn't bloom at all, the other one is getting ready to bloom now, after all my TB iris are winding down. The SDBs don't look crowded really, but should I be dividing them? They looked healthy, & if it helps any, they are Tantara, Bumblebee Delight, & Jazzmatazz. I also have had Boo the same amount of time, but it bloomed early in the season & was full of blooms.

RE: SDB iris question

I'm not sure my friend.

This is my second season with SDBs and Little Sighs put on a nice show, and True Blue had a few blooms.

Maybe they need time to settle in as I bought Gentle Grace and Navy Blues last year and the foliage looks great but no blooms on them for their first season. SIGH :(

I was noticing the past weekend that I don't think that my iris are getting enough sun which is maybe why I'm not getting flowers on some 2 year plants.
