Good idea, Sue. I bought it at Home Depot. There were three labels so I peeled until I got to the bottom. My price was $ 15 for a large pot of this Iris. I think the nursery selling these needs to hire a new person to write up the labels! Such rubbish...
I got a dried out Clarence rhizome from Home Depot last year, and it began to rot as soon as I planted it. I bleached it and replanted it, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will bloom next year. Renee
I bought 3 of the HD Clarence last year. I just had too. They looked all sad and alone on the clearance rack :( I lost 1 of them and the other 2 are doing okay, but they won't flower until next year to even see if they were labeled correctly. vina
Hopefully the large pot of Clarence will grow well. I purchased one batch of rhizomes of a pink Iris last year.( in a mesh bag ) Although 2 of the 3 survived and have grown, there are no flowers this year. It takes a long time to see if the rhizomes were properly labeled.
