Dwarf Irises don't bloom

I think I have probably answered my own question.....maybe they are planted too deep! Planted 3 years ago Dwarf repeat bloomers, lots of green but no flowers!

Anyway, if so is it too late to lift them this year, or should I clear away some of the soil around the base. Any chance they would still bloom this year?

I'm not sure if they will still flower because my dwarfs are nearly over. If you think they are to deep where they are, I would go ahead and move them. Being repeats, yours may still bloom. As for why they don't flower, there are several reasons, mainly being planted to deep and give them plenty of sun. BTW, I'm also in Ontario. Marg
