| my best guess is a pallida, if it smells pretty strongly of grape and has purple based foliage than it is in fact a pallida. mine are usually that shade or a bit darker the first day. if it is not a pallida than i have no clue! |

| While most pallidas have the grape soda fragrance, I don't think they usually have purple-based foliage. Another clue as to whether it's pallida (or of pallida ancestry) is whether it has papery spathes (the surroundings of the buds) - usually spathes are just green like the leaves, but in pallida and its progeny they have a tan, papery appearance. |
