No, I didn't know what the pine or iris were. I love the little candles on the tree. My you keep things neat.

You're the one who helped me with my hosta lining the steps. Well, they are so thick now they cover the steps. I guess I planted them too close so am going to rip off the leaves that are encroaching and use them to smother some grass until they wither away.

When they bloom in the fall, the scent is heavenly, and there are tons of blooms.

I lost most of my shade so won't have too many more hosta. The plantegenaria (sp?) (common) is so thick I should have divided it but have a hard time digging now with my back, and if you don't get them when they're just emeging, they are tough.

This is supposed to be about iris. you can see what has happened at my place since I talked to you last on the hosta forum in the thread that starts with "trampelled iris".
