Odd question, looking for an iris with 'Dog' in the name

Hi, i know this sounds really weird, but a few years ago this woman posted a pic of the most beautiful tall bearded iris and if I remember correctly the word "dog" was in the name. I think it was a bi-tone iris and was so beautiful and I remember thinking that was an odd name for such a beautiful flower.

I would like to find this iris and purchase it but can't remember the full name. as for the color, it was maybe pink/mauve/purpley kind of LOL (how's that for a description).

Maybe Lead Dog? I think there is also one called dogrose, or Dog Rose

Chemocurl -- that's the iris i've been looking for LOL!! Your too funny.

Hi Nancy - unfortunatley it's not Lead Dog but i'll be looking up dog rose.

ctmark - i'll going to look up Fancy Dog.

Now that i'm thinking......maybe it didn't have "dog" in it,but it was a really unusual name (like an ugly name for a beautiful flower)

Dogrose was posted ~7 years ago. Bitone soft orchid (?). Lovely droopy falls like a basset hound.
