No more surprises this year...

I think the show is over for now in my garden. There are only a few irises that did not bloom this year:

Impressionist, French Rose, and Starship Enterprise have never bloomed for me;

Feedback, Clarence, Jennifer Rebecca and Victoria Falls rotted and are just recovering, so I don't expect much from them.

My mom's Violet Turner will bloom in a bit, and that will probably be the last hurrah. Then you will all have to suffer through my rebloom photos later in the fall.

Looking forward to mine finally starting to bloom then I'll be looking forward to your fall pictures as I most likely won't see actual bloom again until next spring.

Ha, ha, Renee you know I love your pictures and I am sure everyone else does too. All you people posting those gorgous blooms just makes me go out and buy more iris :-)) Oh wait, I did just buy more iris :-))

My Starship Enterprise also rotted. I manged to save a couple of fans, but I'm not too impressed.

RE: No more surprises this year...

Renee, what's going to be blooming in your garden next (ie not irises?)

RE: No more surprises this year...

Kay- did yours ever bloom?

Your favorite, aimeekitty- roses. The spring flush is just finishing. And larkspur- they are blooming now. Daylilies and bulb lilies.

Then summer comes and it all melts until fall.
