Yes, it has a scent.

in the sun do the falls almost look fuschia? i think we may have the same plant. sadly i got it from someone who didn't know the name and i haven't been able to find a picture of the same flower to find the name. if you find out i'd love to know!

I was actually thinking that might be it and being an heirloom would explain why I have seen them here and there since I was a kid (born in 77).
