Sandy Beach and Lightshine are my favourites. Lightshine is one that I ordered for this year. I'll be happy if mine's as bright and pretty as yours is. Love your Lupine!

I,m green with envy my Light shine has been in for three years and its not even thinking about blooming. It looks like you have a nice garden already started as well. We just got ours in this week.

Light Shine just seems to brighten up the garden, especially on an overcast day. Jason, I'm sure you will be very happy with yours. Madeyna, has your LS put on much growth? I was told by a grower that if you put a small cut in the rhyzome just below the fans and put in some rooting hormone it will send out more growth. Maybe that will encourage it to flower? Hope yours flowers soon. Marg

It is really pretty were you are. I do love the Lupines! Sandy Beach is a beauty.

Iris_gal: I planted it in the fall and it flowered the first time last spring. This spring is the second blooming. It has increased a bit in size and I hope it gets better.

Rita: The pink lupins are Russell hybrids. Most years I get both pink and purple flowers. In the first lupin picture the one in the very back is a Band of Nobles. Marg

I love Lightshine! That would be a great replacement for that darn Starship Enterprise that has not bloomed, ever, in three years. I also love those golden elders and the spiderwort. Chartreuse is my favorite color. Thanks for the lovely photos.

Renee: Just to let you know, the Spiderwort comes up a lovely yellow color but turns green later in the summer. Mine had a 'baby' but it's still coming up green after 2 years, don't know how long it will take to color up. Still nice tho.

Thanks Marric. I'm wondering if Sandy Beach would be happier in my garden than Edith Wolford. I moved her so maybe she's sulking.
