Irises companion planting

I have siberian irises that are growing well in a raised planter bed.
Any suggestions for what would be a good companion plant?

I thought about strawberries [which grow well in our climate, and are edible, so a "useful" companion] but cannot find any info either way, whether it will or will not do well with iris.

Any one have any ideas about this?
