Big Bunch O Blooms

Here are the next bunch of blooming iris. As you can see, I have some work to do this fall. I had to shove them all in next to each other two Novembers ago, and these are the ones that survived that treatment. These are: lower left Country Moon, Upper left Oasis Cathy, center rear unknown historic, Total Recall, and a Jesse-Song-like one that was mislabeled. Lower center is Sheer Bliss. Sheer Bliss is always stunted when we have 18 degree weather in April.

I like the variety of colors.

Thanks! They won't all be together when I move them this fall, but I am getting to see which look good together, and which ones are thugs who should be quarantined in their own spot.

Lovely! It looks like a big bouquet of flowers. I like the Total Recall with the Jesse's Song look-a-like. I would plant them together permanently. Pretty color combo- violet and pale yellow.

Well, yes, they look good together, but the Jesse Song is the thug! Well, TR can maybe take it, control would just have to be a job I do I guess. Sometimes if you are going to have a particular plant, there's just the jobs you do that go along with it.

I plant mine in clumps a few feet apart- that helps. Then I divide the aggressive ones more often.

That would be the idea!
