Hello, all. I have just moved to a new place, and a couple of the many irises here are blooming. Don't be confused by the fact that they're just blooming now, it's been a VERY late spring here, with warm weather just arriving now . . . the last frost was less than a week ago. I haven't got the foggiest idea about irises, although I think they're the most gorgeous flowers around.

This one is a little over a foot tall, and smells quite strongly like lemon-scented cleaner, to me. Not quite like lemons, but like lemon cleaner. The flowers are about 3.5 inches across, maybe only 3.

I also have no idea how to take pictures of flowers. I hope these will do. The color is fairly accurate on my monitor, with the first one looking the closest to true to me.
