If this is what you think it is..make yourself a plant marker and put this year's date on back of marker, name on front. Start yourself a garden journal if you don't already have one. Take a picture and put it in your journal, just in case it should change over the years. Iris collectors are serious about the names of their Iris. Ask Grandmother if she bought this special iris for a reason. Years ago women wore hats and maybe it reminded her of an Easter Bonnet she once had, or the song that was so popular many years ago. "In your Easter Bonnet, with all the frills upon it."..forgot the rest of the words, but Easter Parade comes in there somewhere. Anybody know the singer that made that song popular and the approx. year?
