GARDENING GUIDESAdd Beardless Iris to Your Garden for Springtime Blooms
Japanese and Siberian irises provide early garden color and attractive foliage from spring to fall
Full StoryHi,
I just got these from the family cottage. There's a huge stand of these most of it in the shade. They were planted a long time ago, but luckily some of it is just enough sun to produce blooms. I saw there were going to be blooms because of the red spathes. I know it looks similar to a Siberian, but I thought it was different since its growth pattern is not the same as my Siberians and the red spathes. So am I correct in saying it is Iris sanguinea.
