| Thanks. I have trouble finding colors to go with orange since I so strangely don't like it with blue or blue-purples. Chad, I have only grown echinacea for two seasons. I have tried in the past and they have died (there's a great thread on the CA forum called 'Echinaceas- fussy for you?'). This time I planted them next to the foxgloves because both require far more water than any other plant I grow. They are getting water four days a week- two regular sprinkler waterings with everything else, then twice weekly hand-watering. The labels that say they are 'drought tolerant' mean that they can stand not getting monsoon rains daily if they are growing in a swampy meadow, I think. |

| I love your garden pathway!! Beautiful curves with irises poking out around the corners, just lovely :) I really like your first photo, with the Iris and the stems of the echinacea! Even if they aren't flowers yet, it just looks very cool :) |

Those are gorgeous together, Renee. I love them separately or together, but they really look good together. kay |

| I really like it when a garden has a theme, it lets me know that the gardener isn't just buying whatever is on sale, but is actually thinking about design and as a viewer I feel included in the consideration, too. I am kind of a color whore of sorts, I like them all, and it can be a problem. I think M of O and Spin Off are nice, but I also really like Tennyson Ridge and Cajun Rhythm. |
