Mislabeled, but nice violet plicata

It would seem I have an endless supply of nameless iris.. but really, the percentage is small..
This is one that I got at the Monterey Bay iris sale this past summer. It was labeled as New Day Dawning, which it clearly is not. It's first year's bloom, was fairly short at about 18", but I'm not sure if it's an IB..
It's similar to Epicenter.. but different..
Mid season
Any ideas?

These are the ones I found that were close. Ignoring the strange 18" height this 1st year!

Blankety Blank (burseen98) - edge not quite right

Drama Queen (keppel03)

Medieval (maryott83) - vy close match to pic from Impressive Iris whose site seems to be closed now.

Power Surge (ghio01) - vy close match

Wild Berry (hamner73)

Good job iris_gal!

I think it's probably Power Surge. A good number of iris at the annual sale come from Joe Ghio, so that one makes sense. It's got to do a lot of growing to reach 40" though... We'll see what it does next year.

Couldn't find a picture of Medieval, but Blankety Blank also looks close. I've got Drama Queen, and it is different.
