| I bought this a year ago from a grower (Iris Patch) that went out of business.. It's charming, but I'm pretty certain it's mis-labeled.. Was bought as 'Bold Statement', and doesn't resemble any pictures I've seen of that.. This picture was taken near the end of April. Thank-you for any stabs at it. I haven't seen one with this color pattern and shape.
I have a few more mysteries in the garden (don't we all?).. |

| You know, Sherry, I wonder if that is not just a stunted flower. I I would give it another year and see what it looks like then. How tall was it? Do you think it's a tall bearded iris? It is obviously what they call a plicata, and the orange beard is distinctive. I wish I could come up with something for you. Renee |
