Okay i have a bunch of iris' from various people and areas and I've had most for quite some time and they have done fine then this year their leaves came up and they bloomed as always no problems there, then in the las two weeks my some of my older clumps started to get leaves that started to brown and I thought nothing of it any one around here knows we haven't got any good rains in almost 3 weeks so I assumed from the heat and all, so then today I was weeding and removing the brown leaves and at the base of the leaves where they connect to the rhizome was wet and soft, I dug up part of the plant and the rhizome was fine and hard but at the crown it looked like it had rotted the roots and the rest of it were fine what is this please help
