Are there numerous varieties that have variegated foliage that is just green and white? I'm thinking there is one that is a water variety, and one that isn't.

Several species offer variegated forms. I. pallida has both a green and white ('Variegata' or 'Albovariegata') and a green and gold ('Aureovariegata') form. There is also a variegated (gold and green) form of pseudacorus and Iris ensata 'Variegata' and Iris foetidissima 'Variegata', both green and white. There may well be others also but these are some of the most common variegated iris.

Iris pallida ÂArgentea Variegata has silvery-white and grey-green stripes.

Variegated Pseudacorus also comes in white and green and can be grown in water.

It resembles a tall bearded called Zebra Night from the Kaspareks that I have in my garden. I recently divided a clump for a couple of trades that looked much like that. You can see that one, along with a couple of other 'striped' ones at www.zebrairis.com.
