Thank you! They are both rock and concrete. Our house was built in the late 1800's and they were originally stone stacked walls. Then the popularity of concrete came along and someone had the idea to cover the stone wall with concrete. The concrete is deteriating and falling off little by little. Hopefully they will return to the original look of stacked stone walls:)
