Iris Transplants

mbkruckow1968

I received a lot of iris plants that had been dug up, haphazardly, without any dirt on the roots. I am not sure how long they have been out of the ground or what kinds they are. Is there anything special I need to do to them now that I have them? Cleaning? Triming? and, if I am not able to plant them right away, how can I store them, if this is possible? Also, not all of them all three ends to them (not sure the correct term for this). Some are just single rhizomes. Please help me save them.
