| The irises I got this year will they bloom next year?
Some are mystery colors and I won't know what color they will be untill they bloom. |

| I don't count on new TBs to bloom their first year. Several factors involved including previous growing conditions, vigor of the particular cultivar, and new growing conditions. My best year I had 2/3s of the new iris bloom the first year - in a well prepared new bed helped. |

| All the Iris I got from Burgard Iris and from Schreiner's Iris bloomed the first year. The ones I got in trades were less than half that! most all bloomed the second year others were quit small and were the third year before they bloomed. Spring Hill and Breck's Rhizomes never Bloomed there first year and half of them died. |
