I was given a walking iris 2 years ago, it forms pups(babies ) but I have yet to see it bloom. I bring it in for the winter then put it outside for the summer in shade. Should it be in the sun? What can I do I really want to see the bloom. Thanks

RE: neomarica walking iris help??

I have a "walking iris" that was given to me also. I have it in a pot, it is root bound and blooms each Spring. the blooms don't last long, maybe a day. Sorry I don't have a picture to post but the coloring is white and burgundy. Mine tolerates part sun so you might place yours in some morning sun so the leaves don't burn and you should have some blooms in the Spring.
