It is so amazing to me to have iris blooms all year like you do :) Total Recall is a pretty good fall rebloomer here, but hasn't rebloomed yet this year.

It hasn't bloomed for my friend Riley much this year either, and he's in CA. Last year it was a champ for him, but not this year.

I think my yard must be the perfect habitat for this iris. Grandma's Purple Flag was even happier here- blooming all through the winter as well- but I couldn't keep up with the dividing. On the other hand, I have numerous new cultivars that NEVER bloom here!

I love the looks of the new cultivars, the big ruffles & unusual colors, but honestly, sometimes you can't beat the vitality of the older ones. Of course, keeping up with dividing & getting rid of extras can be a problem. Friends avoid me now, & getting hard to even ship them out for postage any more :)
