Iris Sale & Auction in Charlotte NC Sep.24

I thought there used to be a forum just for plant events/sales, but can't find it. Anyway, if you live near the city, Charlotte Iris Society holds their annual iris auction & plant sale tomorrow, Saturday, Sept. 24, starting at 10 am, usually done by 12. It's held at Black Lion store, 10605 Park Rd. Feature of the auction this year: I. pseudata, cross between ensata and pseudacorus. Also ensata cultivars, other beardless and bearded. Members with collections always donate some great specimens, lots for shade. Proceeds all go to the hort. scholarship fund.

Hi ya'll. First post here. I have been lurking for several weeks. : )

I am also an iris lover, and have a new house with a yard and hope to start getting some irises for my property.

I found out that the Charlotte Iris Society is having a sale starting around 10 am on the first Saturday of September at the Black Lion in Pineville.

I hope that helps everyone.
