They are all lovely. I've crossed daylilies & grown from seed, but never tried with iris. Maybe I need to give it a shot. Love the look & color of Southern Morning,
Gary Schwartz too. Love the bright orange color on the last seedling.

thanks all for the encouragement -- after 30 years of growing iris -- ive finally got around to getting some serious hybrizing done. More to come in 2012
I'd recommend any iris lover to daub, at least a bit, in crossing, if nothing else, just for fun, and the learning experience

All of them appear to have great form. Congratulations on getting so many fine results. Southern Morning and Gary Schwartz are my two favorites. How is the bud count and branching on those two? Is there a garden carrying your introductions?

All gorgeous new intros! I like the form on Southern Morning. Was just about to say that Gary Schwartz and Endless Ocean look alot alike then I really read the fine print.....lol :)

Southern Morning has 7-10 buds on 37" stalks with good branching although the branches are fairly close to the stalk, most buds are double socketed. Foliage is tall narrow, and almost grasslike, but the cultivar is very hardy having survived a early fall -4 freeze whilst under sdling number

Gary Schwartz has 8-10 buds on 36" stalks with wide branching in a unique zigzag branching structure that i've not seens before in a TB iris -- also has very wide bladed foliage

Endles Ocean is very similar to Gary Schwartz in bud count, branching and growth habit, but the colors are a bit darker, and the flower is much larger and extremely wide with all falls overlapping by 3/4 of an inch! Can't wait to use it more in hybridizing. One drawback -- and i admit it, is that it a slow increaser

They're all beauties, especially Gary Schwartz. Sounds like fun!
