Finally rebloom!

I have several reblooming iris, but this year I have had NO rebloom. I have been really surprised because we had a decent summer, no long period of going without rain. Everything else had done really well, but no rebloom. Some that have ALWAYS rebloomed have not bloomed. Finally I have gotten a couple of blooms from Earl of Essex. Supposed to have a frost Friday night, probably not cold enough to hurt it though.

That is such a pretty photo with the bright green daylily foliage in the background.

I haven't had much rebloom this fall either- some are just getting buds. I'll post photos of the same old same old when they open. Next year will be better...

I haven't had very much rebloom either, our summer was cooler than usual, I was wondering if that had anything to do with it. But, I have a few blooms on some of my new ones! The last one is an oldie but goodie. Hopefully I can get the pictures to post :)

Boy did that take some doing to get them the right size! Practice makes perfect :)

You have some nice rebloomers! Love them all.
I saw a couple of buds on another rebloomer, but we got a hard frost last night so I'm sure what few blooms I had are gone. I've never seen rebloomers wait so very late, usually even the later ones bloom a bit before frost.

I love that 'My Generation' and 'Autumn Ring.' I have never seen either before. Thank you for posting the photos.
