Moving Iris

I got a chance to dig some Iris at a frinds that was moving.Do I need to plant them or just store them till spring I am in middle TN.We had a hard freeze this AM 26*up to 54* this afternoon.

In your zone I would plant them! Iris are pretty good at settling in when the ground is cool. Give them a good watering and wait till spring.

Definitely plant them. I planted a number of them about this time two years ago. Some were pretty puny. Over 90% survived and grew like crazy last year.
