Louisiana Irises in containers outside all winter?

I've grown Louisiana Iris for several decades with great success, but this summer I had to clean out and thin the Iris bed. I planted like 100 Iris in 4 of these long vintage concrete planters and they exploded with new growth and are doing better than I could ever expect. Anyhow, my q is, wonder how they'll do in those planters if we get a hard freeze? Normally, it gets in the mid 20's in the winter here but has been known to get colder, though pretty rare.. Anyone know if they'll make it? Thanks.
