This is a new house we moved into late this summer. We are looking for suggestions regarding this maple. It seems out of place in the yard-lone lollipop. We are trying to decide whether to incorporate it, and how, or take it down. We've thought of a bed of groundcover going around and out and lining the street edge. The house was built in the early 70s so expect this tree is about that old. The base trunk is about 8-10" diameter.
