| Steve, What a co-incidence that you should ask for suggestions about places to see. I think Nitobe's worthwhile whatever the time of year, and so is the Sun Yat Sen Garden in Chinatown. But - & this is the coincidence - a few minutes ago I chanced on an album at Pbase that has pictures of the Buddhist Garden in Richmond. I've never been there. Now it's on my list of places to see next time I visit Vancouver. Herb Click here |

| I wonder how long the temple garden has been there. We stayed in Richmond on our last Vancouver trip, and I had no idea this garden was there. Richmond has many Chinese and Japanese restaurants and several Asian-style malls with food courts. A great place to get a taste of Asia without the long flight! |
