water flute? or water drum for J. Garden

You have water dripping in to the hollow of a bamboo cane.

As the cane fills up, it lifts the other end. As it raises

it pours out the water & falls down with a bong or bang.

Then the cane starts to fill again.

Anyone know the name & where I can get plans to build one.

The right name & I can Google the plans.

I think you're looking for something called shishi odoshi, which is said to mean "deer scarer" in Japanese.
