Garden Ideas

Hello all!
I was hoping to solicit some suggestions for my garden. I have a very small japanese-inspired garden in my backyard behind my swimming pool. The pool is a 16x32 inground that I built myself.

The area has a small 450 gallon pond that I would like to expand. The problem is I built it and the waterfall right under a couple white pines, which is beautiful but less than ideal for water quality. I have attached a drawing and a couple photos. Sorry about the quality best I could do with a camera phone.

There used to be a big pink building next to the pond but that has been torn down so I have a lot of room to work with.

I appreciate any and all ideas.
Thanks
Frank

Hi, Frank

You have a path which leads to a bench. Unfortunately, the bench is not .... artistic. Nor does it give you anything to look at when you sit in it. Placing a piece of art or a beautiful plant there would really help.
