help, need plants for japanese garden

| help, i live in zone 9 and have a huge koi pond ands want to have a garden that acents. the pond and the beauty of the fish, but i do not know what will live in my area and in full sun to partial shade. thank you for any information you can give. |

| If you find you want more than you learn here, try hitting a store with an assortment of Japanese gardening books and browsing through those for some ideas. |
