Leaves on Japanese Maple all curled up

| When we moved in here 4 years ago, we transplanted a Japanese Maple that was elsewhere on the property. It's been 4 years now & the leaves are still curled up. There are a few new shoots with normal leaves. Is this from shock? What can we do to help it along?

| Rolled up margins characteristic of cultivar. Nothing to worry about. In fact, if significant portions appear with typical flat leaves, year-after-year those should be pruned out! |

| Thank you for letting me know this! I feel so much better about it. I was able to locate the name & some other images online. Looks like ours is doing pretty well. Thanks again for your help. |
