Japanese Maple in Zone 5

Posted by daisy_lee 5 (My Page) on

I would like to know if a Japanese Maple 'Crimson Queen' can survive the winter in a container in zone 5. I can move it to a screened porch where it will be shielded from wind.

Any advice or suggestions will be appreciated!

I suspect it can if it is in the ground, but it sounds like you've got it in a pot.
