| Herb, Thanks for posting that link, I spent nearly two hours combing through about 90% of the pictures. Exceptional photography. I'm a newbie to the GardenWeb forums. Once I return from vacation, I will be seeking advice/ideas for my new dirt landscape in front of my home. We recently had 5 truckloads of ivy removed. Hopefully I will receive the three "Japanese Gardening" how-to books before I go so that I will be a little more knowledgable once I really start digging in.
Side Note: My home has two red japanese maples "ever red" ornamental dwarf (?) and two larger green japanese maples that are not dwarf (I haven't looked up the exact variety on those yet). Sorry for my ignorance...but I'm learning. These four japanese maples are my inspiration, they are very nice plants to start with. Thanks again! Rache |
