Planning a garden

I just put a swimming pool in my back yard and I am reworking my landscape. I have an area that is about 15'x15' that i would like to use to put in a small japanese garden. It is sandwiched between my houses deck and the pool around the fence, so I would like something that draws your eye to other parts of the yard. My existing garden which is in the back of the pool is barely even visible from the house because it is at the back edge of the property. Any suggestions are welcome. It is rather challenging working with such a small space. I will try to take some pictures tonight to give y'all an idea of the layout.
Thanks for all ideas!
Frank

ps - any of you that have small space gardens, please email or post pictures for inspiration if you please

RE: Planning a garden

Look forward to seeing your pictures. Japanese style is very good for small areas. One main question at this stage is whether your 15x15 area will be walked through. If it is not a thoroughfare then you could consider a 'zen' area with raked gravel and minimal (but exquisite) plants.
