Classes and seminars in 2006

Hey everyone

Has anyone heard of, or is anyone organizing classes for 2006 in Japanese gardening? I have some volunteers asking me questions and I also have an interest. I have to submit my travel budget by the end of August, so I need some advance notice.

Thanks. Garden Berry (Kristin)

Kristin,..
not that I hear everything, however nothing has been heard yet or mentioned -- except the rampant rumours last weekend in Vancouver that Herb has so much time and with his involvement with the Royal Roads & Tanaka garden -HCP, etal, that he'll be organizing the next Symposia in Victoria....
I'm looking forward to it...
-just put in for a week and I'll show you where the best ale is...
;),
'apparently' there is one planned in the UK... Graham, would you know or have heard anything?
Or is that too far away?

I do not know of plans for any such event in the UK but would be very pleased if the rumours were true. Really the only things that happen in this country are events organised by the very active Japanese Garden Society though as I am sure you all know we are swimming in a much smaller pond than yourselves.

Graham swimming in a small pond could be a seminar all of its own yet, if we could only get a grip on this forum we could have our own continuing learning that may be the most valuable thing this side of working alongside someone akin.
With photos generously supplied by Herb at our disposal and experience supplied by edzard and others sometimes lurking, why should it not be possible.
This falls seminar is not at some distant destination.
This falls seminar is online.
I am not sure people realise that this forum is read by many who only want to take and if only those anonymous people would contribute we could have a going concern.
